How to get the Economy going...

Well I am sure that unless you live in a dark cave somewhere, you are aware of the current economic crisis in America.  While Healthcare and other topics rule the media headlines, actually getting us out of this economic slump is brushed under the carpet. Well we passed a stimulus and what did that do nothing.  So I have come up with some pretty easy solutions to get America rocking again.1) Give all small businesses up to 200 workers a pass on taxes for 1 year (tax year 2009)2) Since History always repeats itself and "they" say that we are in the 2 great Depression we should take a page from the "recovery play book' of the Great Depression and instead of just giving money away make people Work for it. Build school, hospitals, roads etc... Don't just give people a food stamp. Give them work.  It will make them feel useful, important and they will be making a contribution.3) Speaking of Food stamps - the government should make it so that food stamps be used for FOOD   eggs, milk, meat, veggies etc...  NOT for  candy, soda , chips  and other NON essential foods.  The side benefit is America would lose a little weight.4) Institute a flat tax of 27% of individual income and 35% for joint income.5) Since the current administration is bent on giving money away, give it to people not banks.  But give in the form of tax breaks and not cash. IF the government did this they would see a flurry of excitement, renewed enthusiasm, and jobs would be created  on wall street, Main street and  on every other street in America.
